Griffin Gudaitis

Griffin is an American writer who explores how disease and loss can be catalysts for maturity and understanding.

His story, “God’s Square Mile,” is forthcoming in Bellevue Literary Review’s 25th Anniversary Issue and was nominated for the PEN/Dau Short Story Prize. His stories appear in The New Nottingham Journal, Euphony Journal, and The Vanity Papers.

He holds an MPhil in Medieval English Literature from Oxford University, where his fiction was shortlisted for the Oxford-BNU Creative Writing Award (first in 2024, again in 2025) and the Oxford Review of Books Short Fiction Prize.

Griffin is also the 2025-2026 Director of the Oxford Writers’ House and the Founder of The Write Network LLC. He represented Oxford University Rugby Football Club in two Varsity Matches against Cambridge. From time to time, he lectures on U.S. and U.K. college admissions in mainland China.
